What is the Most Sought-After Ingredient in Beauty Products? Rooibos, of course.

Do you know what is the most sought-after ingredient in beauty products?

Yes, it is our trusted and true Rooibos.

For many of us, this is a no-brainer. We've been using Annique Rooibos products for years and have seen the benefits for ourselves. I've been using Annique Rooibos for 15 years and regularly get compliments on my skin.

South Africans were the first to benefit from the miracle of Rooibos. This is because:

1. Rooibos only grows in a small area of the Cedarberg in the Western Cape.

2. Annique was the first skincare line in the world to include Rooibos in its beauty products and Annique is still leading the way in Rooibos innovation.

3. Rooibos tea was enjoyed long before it was incorporated into skincare products.

All Annique's skincare includes fermented Rooibos, Green Rooibos or both!

Here is how Rooibos takes skincare to the next level!

1. Rooibos contains high levels of polyphenols which act as antioxidants, protecting the skin against inflammation and neutralizing harmful free radicals that damage skin cells and cause premature aging.

2. Rooibos also contains superoxide dismutase, an enzyme that effectively reduces wrinkles and boosts healthy skin production.

3. Rooibos's high flavonoid levels can improve skin disorders like eczema, and its natural anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties can help against acne.

It is ideal for all skincare, including sensitive skin.

But before you recycle those Rooibos teabags:

1. Use warm soaked teabags as soothers for puffy eyes.

2. Throw some teabags into your bath to relieve itchy skin.

3. Apply a warm soaked teabag directly to irritated skin to soothe redness and inflammation.

It is no wonder that the extract from South Africa's indigenous Rooibos plant is the most sought-after natural ingredient in beauty products.
